This was Katie's first real major snow. I think it set all kinds of records in the DFW area. Schools were closed. I was excited because I got sent home early the day before, and Saturday School was cancelled. I wasn't feeling great, so Dave and Katie headed outside to make snowmen.
We didn't have any carrots, charcoal, or any normal things to make facial features for the snowmen, so we used Christmas candy. I know it's lame, but it did the trick.
Katie absolutely loved the snow. She always asked after that day, "Is it gonna snow again?" I hope it does because she had one of the best days ever in the snow.
